What to bring to your appointment
Having these ready makes your appointment quicker and means we can start on your return the same day.
Valid identification
A current government-issued photo ID — and one for your spouse as well, if you are filing jointly.
Social Security card
The card, or an ITIN letter, for everyone who will be listed on the return.
Dependent details
Full name, date of birth, and Social Security number for each dependent you are claiming.
Childcare expenses
What you paid, together with the provider's name, address, and tax identification number.
Projected annual income
Your income records for the year — W-2s, 1099s, and totals for any self-employed or contract work.
Proof of address
Something recent showing where you currently live, such as a utility bill or a lease agreement.
Last year's tax return
A copy of the return filed for the previous year, if you have one.
Direct deposit information
Your bank routing and account numbers, if you would like any refund deposited directly.
